Dr. Sarah Caroleo is a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the Annenberg Institute at Brown University. Her research explores policies and practices that can help students with disabilities grow and thrive in grade-level classrooms. In particular, she examines general and special education teacher preparation and development systems, aiming to understand how to best equip teachers to provide inclusive instructional and behavioral supports. Dr. Caroleo holds her PhD in Education from Johns Hopkins University, her MEd in Educational Psychology from University of Georgia, and her BS in Elementary Education from Greenville University. Prior to doctoral studies, Sarah served as an elementary educator and resource teacher for eight years.
