Rebecca Zumeta Edmonds

Rebecca Zumeta Edmonds, Ph.D., brings nearly 25 years of experience working in the field of education. She was previously a Managing Researcher at the American Institutes for Research (AIR) where she led federally funded technical assistance centers, and she managed a portfolio of over 50 federal, state, and local projects focused on early identification and intervention for students with and at risk for learning difficulties. She has also published peer-reviewed journal articles, chapters, and edited a book on topics including universal academic screening, progress monitoring assessment, and implementation of evidence-based academic and behavioral interventions for students with intensive learning needs. She has taught in public and private schools and currently sits on the Board of Trustees of the Washington Episcopal School. She holds a Ph.D. from Vanderbilt University, an M.Ed. from the University of Washington, and a B.A. from Whitman College.
